Recently, the first unit of HYUNDAI Heavy Industries’ HX705 ultra-large excavator was successfully delivered to a customer in Ningxia, marking the official entry of this model into the Chinese mining market.
On June 9, a handover ceremony was held at a local mining site. Park Shin-mook, Senior Director of Sales at HYUNDAI Heavy Industries; Li Jun, Chairman of Ningxia Henghua; and customer representatives attended the event to witness this important milestone.
As HYUNDAI Heavy Industries’ new-generation ultra-large excavator designed for heavy-duty mining operations, the HX705 features an optimized design tailored to high-intensity work demands. Equipped with robust and durable core components, the machine delivers powerful performance and stable operation, making it well-suited for complex environments such as mining sites.
During the on-site demonstration, the customer praised the HX705’s handling performance, noting that the machine offers a comfortable driving experience, smooth movements, and rapid responsiveness, all of which meet the demands of efficient mining operations.
It is understood that the customer has long relied on HYUNDAI’s 50-ton class excavators and holds a high regard for the Hyundai brand and its product performance.
