In March, TZCO Heavy Industry officially
delivered two TZ350EH hydrogen-powered excavators and two TZ958EH
hydrogen-powered loaders to a hydrogen-powered mining site construction
project. This marks the first practical application of hydrogen-powered
excavators in the industry, signifying a crucial step forward for
hydrogen-powered construction machinery and serving as a significant milestone
in TZCO Heavy Industry’s advancement of the “Dual Carbon” strategy.
The project is an integrated hydrogen
demonstration initiative that establishes a complete closed-loop system by
connecting the entire process from “solar power generation—green
electricity-based hydrogen production—storage and
transportation—refueling—application,” creating China’s first “full-chain,
integrated operation” hydrogen-powered mining site. The project not only drives
the local industry’s transition to new energy but also provides a replicable
model for carbon-neutral mining operations.
Hydrogen-Powered: Pioneering a New Model of Green Construction
The TZ350EH hydrogen-powered excavator
utilizes a hydrogen fuel cell system and a fully electronically controlled
hydraulic system to achieve zero-emission, low-noise operation. The equipment
is equipped with six high-capacity hydrogen storage tanks and a dedicated
energy management system, enhancing operational efficiency while ensuring
safety. With a refueling time of approximately five minutes, it can quickly
resume operations to meet the demands of high-intensity construction.
The TZ958EH hydrogen-powered loader is
optimized for heavy-duty applications. It employs a modular powertrain and
distributed motor control technology, combined with a heavy-duty drive axle and
a stable structural design, ensuring efficient and stable operation even under
complex working conditions.
Enhanced Efficiency and Safety Through Intelligent Technology
The TZ958EH is equipped with proprietary
energy-saving control and regenerative braking technologies, effectively
reducing energy consumption while maintaining power output. Dual-pump parallel
technology enhances operational efficiency and flexibility, while the fully
hydraulic dual-circuit braking system further improves safety. The machine also
integrates intelligent control and weighing functions, enabling more precise
and efficient construction management.
With zero emissions, high efficiency, and
high reliability as their core advantages, these two hydrogen-powered machines
meet mining customers’ dual demands for green operations and high productivity.
This delivery not only marks the practical application of the products but also
provides a viable solution for the mining industry’s green transition.
