Excavating in high-temperature environments in summer, if your excavator does not have air conditioning, the temperature in the cockpit will be no different from that outside, which would be difficult! To be honest, air conditioning is indispensable in summer.
Therefore, we must pay attention to the daily use and maintenance of the excavator air conditioner to reduce air conditioner failures.
1. Pay attention to the temperature difference between inside and outside.
If the temperature is too low, fuel consumption will increase. Let’s first talk about the daily use of the excavator air conditioner. It is best not to adjust the temperature too low. Pay special attention to the temperature difference between the inside and outside of the cab.
Too much temperature difference can easily cause the operator to catch colds, coughs, fevers, lack of energy and other diseases. If the air conditioner temperature is too low, the load on the engine will increase, which will increase fuel consumption.
2. To prevent clogging, clean and replace the filter regularly.
The air conditioner of the excavator also needs regular maintenance. The air conditioning filter is generally cleaned every 500 hours. If it works in a dusty environment for a long time, it needs to be cleaned frequently.
When there is too much dust or other impurities on the filter, it will clog the filter mesh and reduce the cooling effect of the air conditioner. Of course, the filter must also be replaced regularly.
3. Cleaning and inspection of condenser plate impurities
In addition to the air conditioner filter that needs to be cleaned regularly, the air conditioner condenser piece must also be cleaned and inspected. The dirt, dust and other impurities on it should be cleaned in time to prevent the air conditioner condenser from clogging and affecting the cooling effect of the air conditioner.
4. Cleaning of other impurities and dust in the air conditioner
Cleaning of other impurities and dust, such as removing dust on the radiator, because too much dust on the radiator will increase engine fuel consumption; debris at the air inlet of the air conditioner must also be dealt with in time, as too much debris will block the air inlet.
As a result, the air output of the air conditioner becomes smaller.
5. If the excavator is not used, the air conditioner should be checked during the season.
The excavator air conditioner is used for cooling and cooling in the summer. It is not used most of the time in other seasons. It should be checked when the air conditioner is idle.
It is best to ensure that the air conditioner is operated for 3 to 5 minutes every month to prevent long-term operation. No glitches occur.
